According to Mike Garafolo from the NFL Network, the Pittsburgh Steelers have claimed Miles Boykin off of waivers.  Just a day after the Baltimore Ravens surprisingly cut their 2019 third round draft pick, the Steelers claimed the 25-year old wide receiver.  Boykin started eleven games as a rookie and had 198 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 13 receptions.  A stunning 15.2 yards per catch.

Last season, Boykin started 13 games for the Ravens.  He caught 19 passes for 266 yards and four touchdowns.  He also finished with another impressive yards per catch number at 14 yards even.

Boykin had a dominant 2018 season as a senior for Notre Dame where he caught 59 passes for 872 yards and eight touchdown catches.  He played alongside, then junior, wide receiver Chase Claypool.

It's a great addition to a wide receiver that had seen several players leave this offseason.  Hopefully Claypool and Boykin can open up the field like they did in college and find that Irish magic again.
